Pünktlich zum Start von "Episode VII - Das Erwachen der Macht" präsentiert Automotive-Spezialist Garage Italia Customs seine Sonderedition des schnittigen Kleinwagens.
Das Ergebnis: Eine beeindruckende Hommage an die Star-Wars-Saga. Und das nicht nur von außen. Denn im Innern glänzen die drei im Look des Blockbusters gehaltenen Fiat 500e-Modelle mit raffinierten Alcantara®-Elementen.

Show, Garage Italia Customs plays a main role again in an important promotional campaign for Fiat. The occasion is the launch of the seventh episode of the Star Wars saga.
To celebrate the arrival of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on screens all over Europe, FCA has in fact decided to “invade” premieres in Spain, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, UK and Turkey with 12 cars identical to the 500e Stormtrooper. Moreover, two of the models that will be presented are dedicated to the drones starring in the film, R2-D2 e BB-8, together with a tailor-made 500 Stormtrooper in a world preview for the showing in Switzerland.



Lapo Elkann’s creative hub, which specializes in complete tailor-made customization, has thus produced 12 wrapping kits to replicate the varnished livery of the original concept in every detail. The kits were sent to the relative specialists in the countries involved in the initiative. Their packaging was personalised and with them came a precise set of instructions with detailed graphics. These elements once again highlight the Garage Italia Customs desire for perfection and care for detail in every area.
The Garage Italia Customs Style Centre, in addition to creating the liveries inspired by the two drones, truly wanted to characterise the exteriors of the cars with a “damage” effect, in order to reproduce the signs of time and galactic battles. The Garage Maestros have hence been able to express their abilities at their best, making a unique painting for the two models dedicated to Switzerland. The spectacular result was obtained with an innovative aerography technique and a final 3D embossed opaque finishing which conveys strong sensations on touch.



The livery of the BB-8 continues on the windows, too, thanks to the use of a special “one-way” tinted film. In fact, the particular micro-pierced structure of the film itself makes it possible to see through the painting as if it were not there at all, consenting a vision that is the same as that of traditional tinted film.
The R2-D2 is instead characterised by 100% tinted film and “one-way” film on the panoramic sunroof.
The cabin of the two cars recalls the same design elements found in the 500e Stormtrooper, i.e. the Foglizzo leather and Alcantara® covered seats with colours matching the external livery: white and orange for the BB-8 and white and blue for the R2-D2. Moreover, we find the same care for detail even on the headrests, with their embroidered logos, and on the steering wheel, which is upholstered in Foglizzo leather and Alcantara® with contrasting stitching. Hand-done aerography has been used on the entire dashboard to result in the same “damage” effect of the external body, reproducing the wear and tear of the armours of the two drones. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens logo is easily recognisable on the passenger’s side. The dashboard and the instrument cluster are instead upholstered in Foglizzo leather and Alcantara® with contrasting stitching. Finally, the designers of the Garage Italia Customs Style Centre have chosen Alcantara® to complete the upholstery of the headliner and every detail of the cabin.
